Family Counselling
Loretta Sassi is the on-site Family Counsellor available to families enrolled in Cora Barcaly Centre services. Loretta is a highly qualified, very experienced registered psychologist and mother of 2.
Lorettta is often found at Music Matters. She is very approachable and warm and is always welcoming to all families on clinical service at the Centre.
Loretta will be available for appointments every Monday, Tuesday and Friday morning. If you would like to make an appointment, please let your therapist know and they will arrange this on your behalf.
Loretta is available to talk about issues which impact on your role as a parent and issues directly related to your child. Example include:
- Grief and loss issues
- Adjustment issues
- Worries and concerns about a child
- Behaviour management and positive parenting
- Enjoying parenting
- Self care as a parent
- Sleep issues
- Relationship / communication issues
- Feelng depressed of anxious; skills in manaing mood
- Managing stress
- Problem solving
- Sibling issues
