South Australia's Auditory-Verbal Therapy Program

The Cora Barclay Centre provides family centred Auditory-Verbal Therapy for children who are deaf or hearing impaired and wear hearing aids, cochlear implants or other listening devices. Early intervention practitioners have specialist qualifications in early childhood development and family centred practice.Therapists work collaboratively with parents, guiding them to facilitate their child's audition, speech and language development. 

Early intervention includes music therapy, parent infant programs for 0-6 year olds and support services for school students up to the age of 18 years. Audiology services, professional counselling, family mentoring support and a youth social support program are also available.
